SAVE OUR LIBRARIES!

In these difficult economic times, now more than ever, record numbers of citizens are relying on public libraries. Faced with losing millions in budget cuts, we need your help. Help us continue to serve you by contacting your legislator.

What is at risk?
  • Access to computers and the Internet

  • Job search resources

  • Hundreds of programs for children

  • Recreational resources like books and DVDs

  • Quality library materials

  • Number of hours the library is open
  • Contact your Legislators and ask for level funding of all library programs next year. To find your legislators go to: www.legis.state.pa.us

Join us every fourth Tuesday of the month for our book discussion, complete with light refreshment.

Our book club selection for August is Bulls Island by Dorthea Benton Frank.   Copies are available for checkout on the book discussion display located in the Reading Room.  Discussion will be held August 25.

Questions? Ask for help at the Circulation Desk.

Want to find out what else the book club has read?  Take a look at our discussion display and find out what we enjoyed.
