Volunteering at the Perkiomen Valley Library at Schwenksville

The Perkiomen Valley Public Library has a volunteer group dedicated to promoting and serving the library.  Volunteers run book sales, assist with library programs and operations, and work on publicity projects.

REQUIRED CLEARANCES:

All volunteers and employees ages 18 and older are required to provide current (less than 12 month) background checks including  an FBI fingerprint check.  (FBI fingerprint check must be organized through the Library at the time of hire or start of volunteer service.)  

All volunteers ages 14-17 are required to provide current (less than 12 month) PA Child Abuse & PA Criminal background checks.

All background checks are at the expense of the employee or volunteer.
