The library is CLOSED for construction
Re-opening February 18th
What is going on?
Perkiomen Valley Library is undergoing much needed restoration of the library’s exterior walls.
This is a very expensive and needed process to ensure the longevity of the library building. Construction standards have changed since the original construction of this building in the 1950s. Today, buildings from that era, including PVL, are having problems with bowing facades which causes damage to the interior structure walls. This restoration will includes removing the rear wall and rebuilding it with steel supports.
Please consider helping to pay the cost of the library’s construction project. Please consider a donation through PayPal at https://www.paypal.com/us/fundraiser/charity/2185366 (Paypal does not take a transaction fee from the library), the library’s Go Fund Me at https://www.gofundme.com/f/library-construction (Go Fund Me takes a small transaction fee from the library), or send a check to Perkiomen Valley Library, 290 Second Street, Schwenksville, PA 19473.
Can you help the library continue to stand and serve the community for many more years?
The library is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
