Construction at PVL is finished.

What happened?
Perkiomen Valley Library is under went a much needed restoration of the library’s exterior walls.
It was very expensive and needed process to ensure the longevity of the library building.  Construction standards have changed since the original construction of this building in the 1950s.   Today, buildings from that era, including PVL, are having problems with bowing facades which causes damage to the interior structure walls.  This restoration will includes removing the rear wall and rebuilding it with steel supports.
Now that the work is complete the PVL Advisory Board needs to pay the bills. The project costs exceeded $500,000 dollars and forced the board to take out a loan to cover the expense and ensure the library building would be around for decades to come. Please consider a donation to help repay the loan. See donation options below.
