RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE

The Blood Drive will be held in the auditorium.

Please use Church Street entrance.

 

Walk-ins welcomed, however, appointments are highly recommended.

 

Science in the Summer

 

lottery registration - May 1-31

 

Science in the Summer is a FREE hands-on science program sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline. 

Participation is limited.  Registrations for lottery will be accepted May 1-31.  Form must be signed by parent or guardian.  Participants will be notified by June 9.

 

This Science in the Summer for 2012 is Simple Machines.  Click here for details.  Please noted curriculum for days 1 & 2 will be taught on July 9 and curriculum for days 3 & 4 will be taught on July 10.  Participants MUST attend both days.

 

Science in the Summer schedule: July 9 & 10

        Fall Grades 2 & 3  - 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

        Fall Grades 4, 5 & 6  - 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

 

Lottery registration is in-person only.  Call 610-287-8360 for information.

 

 

Monte Carlo with a Dash of Jazz /

Monte Carlo raffle!

 

Monte Carlo night will be Thursday, June 7, 5:30-9:30 am at the Plymouth Country Club.  All proceeds of the evening will benefit the materials budget for the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Libraries (including the libraries in Norristown, Conshohocken, Royersford, Red Hill and Schwenksville)

Tickets for the event are $50 each and may be purchased by making a check payable to MC-NPL and mailing it to:  MC-NPL, 1001 Powell Street, Norristown, PA  19401  Attn: Administration.

OR

You could enter a raffle for 2 tickets (value$100!).  The raffle is available at the checkout desk at Perkiomen Valley Library.  Raffle tickets are 1 for $1 and 7 for $5.  The raffle will be drawn on Thursday, May 24. (raffle proceeds benefit PVL)

 

The library is a great place to find FREE and inexpensive activities for all ages.

The next book discussion will be Tuesday, May 22 at 7:00 pm.

The title to discuss is March by Geraldine Brooks.  The story of March follows the fictional father of the March family from Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.

 

Discussion will be held in the Parshall Reading Room
